Restaurant Brasserie de Metropole is known for its hospitality for over two centuries. It combines a traditional atmosphere, European service and modern updated menu, which offers dishes of Russian and European cuisine.
The celebrated restaurant complex "Metropol" back in the day was the center of cultural and political life of St. Petersburg: before revolution poets-decadents and bohemians used to come here, and in the XXth century the restaurant held governmental activities with participation of important politicians.
After being reconstructed in 2010, it fascinates guests by its unique atmosphere and refined interior, harmoniously combining excellent restaurant, classical Belgian pub and brewery, as before. Extensive space includes three halls, each of which is decorated in unique style and thus harmoniously fits into a uniform ensemble.
The solemnity and strong personality of the Column hall is combined with extraordinary comfort: slender columns, pastel painted ceilings, moldings and elegant lampshades resonate with entourage bar counter, the isolated booths of graceful sofas and white classics of cloths.
Fireplace hall has a spectacular combination of colors in the decoration and details – purple walls, sand curtains, white wall panels, shimmering verge of lamps.
Unique decoration of this chamber hall is the operating iron fireplace: it gives an opportunity to gather a good company by the live fire.
